Door Swing Direction：
Please confirm the swing direction of your door, so you can select the correct lock handing for smooth installation.
Measurement Method
Open the door, align the zero mark of the ruler against the door edge where the latch bolt is located.
Measure horizontally to the exact center of the square spindle hole for the door handle.
If the measured value is approximately 60 mm, it is a 60 mm backset.
If the measured value is approximately 70 mm, it is a 70 mm backset.
🛠️ Steps for Removing the Old Lock
- Open the door, then unscrew the two fixing screws on the side lock body faceplate.
- Loosen the set screws at the tail of the interior and exterior door handles, and pull out the handle square spindle.
- Remove the fixing screws on both ends of the lock cylinder, then take out the lock cylinder.
- Push the entire old single-latch lock body out from the side cavity of the door.
